Who is the device intended for?

The device is intended for all residents of the Sharon region – about a million people – and in particular for patients with suspected cancer, heart disease, neurological disorders and bone problems, who need an accurate diagnosis using PET-CT.

It will also be used by patients in the oncology department at Meir Hospital, who are currently required to wait about three months for an examination at another hospital.
