Meir Medical Center was established in 1956 as a leading institution that provides advanced, high-quality healthcare services to all residents of the Sharon region.
In total, approximately 800,000 residents are part of the medical center's vision, which strives to provide high quality care, tailored to the needs and expectations of each patient, with an emphasis on sensitivity and professionalism.

Meir Medical Center has a variety of centers of excellence that are considered leaders in their fields and include, among others:
Ophthalmology, gastroenterology, pulmonary diseases, orthopedics and spine surgery, obstetrics and gynecology department, in addition, Meir Medical Center is recognized worldwide for its research and innovations in collaboration with Tel Aviv University.

At Meir, ethical values and procedures are part of the hospital, and the uncompromising commitment to being a source of hope and respect for every person is at the heart of the medical center and its staff.
Meir Hospital serves as a local symbol of coexistence in Israel. The phrase "Health as a Bridge to Peace" holds supreme meaning at Meir Medical Center.

Meir Medical Center has 4,000 staff members, 795 beds, and over 60,000 hospitalizations per year.
7,200 births and 183,000 emergency room visits per year require the medical center to meet high standards of care and conduct in all departments. With future construction plans to renew and expand the facilities and purchase advanced equipment, Meir Medical Center will continue to be a source of health services for the population it serves.

Secure emergency room building and operating rooms (including memorial)

As part of the Meir Medical Center's master plan for development, we are beginning the construction of the third building, covering an area of approximately 32,000 square meters. Combining all professional resources in one complex will enable the best medical care for emergency medical cases and orthopedic trauma cases.
These patients can be transferred directly from the emergency rooms to the operating rooms and from there to hospitalization and recovery. In Phase I, the new emergency room and operating rooms are planned to be built in the next 3 years at a cost of approximately NIS 200 million.

The cost of the project is approximately 411 million NIS. A donation of 60 million NIS is requested to commemorate the donor's name on the entire building.

Medical clowns

Following studies, it has been proven that medical clowns contribute and help children undergo medical treatment without trauma. These clowns, called dream doctors, have been employed with great success for several years and are very helpful to sick children, and it is of utmost importance to continue with this project.

Sports equipment for an adult sports center

Renovation and expansion of a rehabilitation center for heart patients – construction work to expand the institute and increase it in accordance with the needs of the population, increasing the area from 150 square meters to 250 square meters, and purchasing fitness equipment adapted for heart patients.

Renovation and expansion of the Oncology Institute

Expansion from 1000 square meters to 1700 square meters and doubling the number of patients each day. Replacing the equipment with new equipment.

The cost of the project is 16 million NIS, and a requested donation is 7 million NIS to commemorate the donor's name at the institute. 

The project cost is approximately 16 million NIS.
Any donation to this project will be gratefully received.
With a donation of 10 million $, you can receive a memorial at the institute.

Renovation and expansion of the maternity ward

The Meir Medical Center's neonatal intensive care unit is one of the five best neonatal intensive care units in the world. It works according to the NIDCAP method. A planned project includes adding an intensive care unit, expanding the space between beds to reduce infections, expanding the area for parents who stay with their children 24 hours a day, and adding essential rooms such as a pharmacy, a pumping room, and milk storage.

The project cost is $1.5 million, and the requested donation is $1 million to commemorate the donor in the hospital.
